InstaGC is a rewards site you can use to redeem instantly for Amazon gift codes (and all kinds of other gift codes). With this site, it's possible to earn money for doing all sorts of things which include short tasks, surveys, watching videos, listening to music, and more. What I love most about this one is that when you do redeem, there is NO waiting. You just ask for your code and it's there waiting for you on the next screen. It's also possible to request a check for a cash payment, but you will have to wait several days for that to show up in the mail.
If you are more confident in your skills, you can also market directly to websites and blogs. You can contact the sites by email to market your services. That will also enable you to select the specific types of sites that you are more comfortable working with. Since there are literally thousands of websites and blogs on the web, the potential market is limitless.
If you are a fast typist, you can find general transcription jobs that you can do from home using your typing skills. Some companies offer general transcription jobs to people without prior transcription experience. Instead, you will most likely have to pass their transcription and typing tests. General transcription jobs require you to listen to audio files of personal conversations, college lectures, business meetings etc and then transcribing them into text files for the targeted audience to understand easily. At first, doing general transcription jobs can be really intimidating for beginners but as you get used to it over time, you will get better at doing them. Here are some sites and companies offering transcription jobs that require no prior relevant experience.
Hi Sean…love the article. I have been trying to come up with a good strategy for coming up with a solid niche that I can be successful with and your article has helped me tremendously. I have combined your advice with the advice from another article and I think I have about 3 ideas that I will try to narrow down to 1. Do you have a timeline of how many articles you get up with a new site and the money that you will make on average per month for the first 6 months?

As for the question on why don’t good SEO’s make their own mega sites I think it’s a very valid one. I got into working at an SEO agency because I was struggling to learn this stuff on my own and separate the wheat from the chaff. After working at an agency for 1.5 years, managing clients with big multi million dollar businesses and being somewhat of an expert on linkbuilding I think I could definitely create a huge site that’s majorly profitable. The two things I lack though are the time and resources to do it the right way.

There are quite literally hundreds of clever ways to make money online. From taking online surveys, to renting or selling your old clothes, flipping your iPhone to someone in a different country, and even buying low-cost products locally, just to resell them for a higher price on Amazon. There’s truly no shortage of unique ways to make money online.
That said, if you deliver A+ content to your audience for 20-25 minutes, it’s perfectly acceptable to spend the last few minutes sharing opportunities for your audience to learn more, buy your product, or sign up for coaching or your email list (if they haven’t already). Not sure where to start or how to execute? Here is a great guide that Lewis Howes shares with Pat Flynn on how to run and successfully market a profitable webinar.
19. eBay – Of course you can’t read an article about making money online that doesn’t mention eBay. You can start an eBay store and get serious about it or you can just sell some stuff to declutter your home. Either way, I’ve made my fair share from selling on eBay and it’s still a popular way to earn money. If you decide to start an actual eBay store, you’ll want to find a drop-ship business like Doba that will store and ship items straight to your customers so you don’t have to deal with an inventory.
That’s why for now I have two niche sites and one big site that I focus my time away from work on. I think others in the SEO industry either do have their own sites or get lured in by freelance work. I love the goal of more long term passive income but I have friends who work at agency’s who get easily lured in by making huge hourly rates for freelance projects and rather get the money up front instead of putting the time in to develop a site.
If you have a background in marketing and a passion for a particular niche, then organizing a virtual event may be just up your street. A virtual event could span across a day or longer. Individual live sessions would be run by experts in the field. And conference features would include live question and answer sessions, forums, and plenty of free giveaways. Visitors to the virtual event would pay to attend, so the more effective your promotion of the event the more money you would make.
Can I offer you some advice? Lead Pages has good ideas for layouts. Canva can make you a designer. If you look around the web, most of the logos are pretty basic. Find a WordPress theme that you like the layout of. What I did for my website was find a theme with the colors that I loved and then designed a Canva logo that complimented it. I still use a free theme but it looks nice. You can even do black and white and then add colors from Canva.
They always have charged a fee. They are not a company hiring people to work at home, their site is a job board that posts hundreds of work at home/flexible jobs every day that you can browse, and it’s not free to access. They work with a ton of legit employers to find candidates, and the reason they charge a subscription fee is because they do not use advertisements on their site for making money like many other websites.
In the long run, promoting products and services for a commission is probably the best way to build a sustainable income from creating online content. Instead of just taking a nominal fee for letting someone advertise on your blog, you can take a cut of the profits for yourself. The difference can be huge, especially if you stick with it for several years.
eBay: eBay is one of the most popular websites in the world, period. That means it’s a great way to attract lots of eyeballs to your unwanted items, fast. Initially designed as an auction site for DIY sellers, it’s now primarily a venue for fixed-price (though often heavily discounted) sales by professional merchants. Still, as long as you include high-quality photographs and thorough descriptions in your product listings, you can likely break through the noise. eBay’s fee schedule is complex, but as a general rule, expect to lose 10% of your final selling price to the site’s commission.
This is something like Experts Exchange, except that it’s more general in nature. As a professional in just about any field, you can offer your expertise on JustAnswer. They are looking for professionals in various fields who will provide answers to reader’s questions. You can make money online by answering these questions and pointing people in the right direction to get the solutions that they need.

Time and time again I’ve read that the most important part of building a niche website is research – and it’s true. It all starts with research. If you start with a keyword that is too competitive, or doesn’t have enough volume, then you are in for 6 months of disappointment. I recommend using a software like Long Tail Pro in order to get the best list of keywords as well as to understand their volume and competition. It is worth spending an extra few days to really test out some different keywords before making the commitment.

It's a little more involved. Companies, especially those with stores, will want to get the opinion of the customer as they go through a transaction. For a bank, it might be opening up an account. For a retail clothing store, it might be trying on a shirt and checking out. Sometimes it's just calling up their customer service line with a problem and seeing how the representative treats you.

If you have a fondness and talent for taking pictures you can make extra money online by becoming a stock photographer and selling your images to a stock photo company like ShutterStock or iStockPhoto. You’ll get royalties every time someone licenses an image you’ve submitted. To really be successful, build your own photography website to be able to showcase your portfolio and start getting higher-paid private corporate work.

Good article on how to find the best keywords. I would stress the fact that it’s the #1 reason why most affiliate marketers fail in earning some income. If you start building a site with too many competitive keywords, you can’t have traffic, that’s for sure! I’ve failed several times because of that (too many competitive niches). Jaaxy is a real must have tool, providing very accurate data on a lot of keywords. Good luck with your keywords researches!
Designing and developing your blog / niche site – When it comes to themes and designing your blog/website, if you want to go big, and get real pro right out of the gate, I suggest you look into the Rainmaker Platform, which is what THIS website is built with. To keep things a little more simple, once you’ve got started with Bluehost, you can visit StudioPress to get your site looking pretty.
Usability testers are asked to perform tests based on their demographic profile (education, knowledge of the web, age, social media use, etc.). They are then given questions to address and/or tasks to perform, such as registering on a website and then providing feedback online. Reviews usually take about 15-20 minutes and earn typically about $10 each. After completing a review, testers are not paid until the client accepts their feedback. Work can be rejected and unpaid for technical problems, lack of detail, or other issues the client determines.
Again, not every post/low competition keyword you find will hit the bulls eye, but don’t dwell on this. Simply keep searching for more keywords & writing up excellent content. Overtime, you may even see old posts rise up in the ranks which you though would never appear on the first page. I speak from experience as this does happen more often than you think 🙂
Thanks for such a great resource! I also was having a hard time selecting the best one! I finally made up my mind after I went over all of the entries word for word, followed the links, and went to the sites mentioned on each submission . Whew! To me, the winner is Stuart Walker. As an aside, it is a tremendous feather in Stuart’s cap that he gave Matt Woodward similar tips that increased his business by 469% . Matt Woodward by 469% – unbelievable! I checked out both websites and saw why the tremendous increase.
I have 3 VAs. I couldn’t function without them. It doesn’t matter how big or how small a business is, they all need help running their day-to-day administrative tasks. Virtual assistants perform a variety of tasks that a traditional assistant or secretary would normally do, including making travel arrangements, paying bills, or managing expense reimbursements. I use them to upload content, optimise images, brief writers etc.
Equally, you can charge businesses to ‘claim’ their listing, a method used by many large directory sites like Google Business and Yelp. This involves companies paying to upgrade their listing and adding information such as their web address, social media links, images, and more. Other revenue streams include charging for ad space, adding affiliate links and even charging for services and products on your directory site.
Another way to utilize your talent and business skills is to run corporate workshops online. Businesses are always looking for unique ways to help educate their workforce, and if you can package your talents into a day or half-day long session, you can sell that to companies all over the world to make money online. Start by building a portfolio and then reaching out on LinkedIn to influencers at relevant companies to see if they would be interested in you teaching their team.
Many people fancy themselves as designers. If you have a unique idea for a new product then it may be time to get it designed. This can be a long process involving prototypes, discussions with factories, package design, and much more. However, the profits once the product is on the market could be substantial. And remember, with Amazon FBA, your products can all be stored and shipped by Amazon, giving you time to think up your next invention. Learn more about Amazon FBA with my How To Start An Amazon FBA Business Guide.
22. Advertising – This is definitely the most old-school way of earning money with a blog. It’s also starting to become the least common way. You can sell advertising spots directly on your site or you can sign up with a company like Google AdSense or Media.net. Either way, you won’t see a whole lot of money from ads until your views are well into the thousands each day.
Work Space. When acting as a consultant, the probability is high that clients will be visiting your home office. Therefore, you need to have a neat, professional home office that is welcoming to guests. Try to locate your work space in a quiet, even secluded, area of the house. A converted garage space with its own entrance works well, giving you a private space for work and adding to your credibility.

I think there are a lot of mass link building strategies that will be effective for a period of time – especially private link networks, which are a bit of a different story. But most of those strategies will lose value over time at best, or ruin your site at worst. That’s why I do my very best to build links through good content and networking as much as possible.
Starting a blog allows you the opportunity to contribute small pieces of content gradually, and with enough content and effective marketing, you can grow an audience. Once you have an audience, there are a number of ways to monetize the traffic, such as Google AdSense, affiliate links, a blog store, selling ad space on the blog, or curating your content into an e-book to sell, among others.

23. Affiliates – There are many affiliate networks, such as FlexOffers and CJ Affiliate that allow you to promote other people’s products and services. You simply put a link or a banner on your page and then you get a percentage if someone clicks through and buys the product/service. You’ll want to select products that are specifically within your blog’s category. This is an effective way to earn money once you have the traffic coming to your blog.

The best part is that people who use bed and breakfasts are more likely to pay more for the experience. The challenge is that there’s a lot of competition in this field, so if you think earning money this way is right for you, you’ll have to set up your home in a way that makes for a memorable experience for guests. Here’s a checklist to get you started:

Storage. Depending on how big your business gets, you’ll need ample room to store the books. You can’t get lazy or disorganized about it, either. You have to keep the books in good condition, and you need to be able to find them when someone wants them. For instance, if you list a book in “like new” condition, and then the pages get smashed during storage, you’ll be in a bind if someone places an order before you realize what happened.

Choosing the right ‘niche’ is an article topic on it’s own and it’s arguably the most important part of the making money with a niche website process. If you don’t pick the right niche, it will a) be difficult to get traffic because the competion for ranking your site in the SERPS will be very tough and b) there will be many other websites doing the exact same thing and c) your niche topic might not be easy to make money in.

Craigslist: Craigslist is definitely the scrappiest of the major online resale options. The advantage of Craigslist is its enticing profit potential, thanks to the total lack of listing and selling fees for most items. The disadvantages are many, but include potential safety risks and higher chances of nonpayment. If you do choose Craigslist, keep your wits about you and use the buddy system.
Thanks for the insightful post! Very easy to follow guide. I am in the middle of building my own niche site, and have no background in any sort of online business. I have been running into some smaller problems such as, where do I get pictures to put on my website and include with my posts? Do you know of any resources or guides that address this or other small problems people may run into when they begin building niche sites?
If you are a creative type, then you could make money online by designing and selling crafty products on Etsy. Etsy sells a range of beautiful and original items from independent suppliers. Categories range from jewelry, clothes, and accessories, to art, collectibles, and vintage. So if you have some stunning crafty creations, Etsy is the perfect platform from which to sell from.
In a nutshell the keywords which will make sales or money as an affiliate marketer should be buyers keywords. Buyers keywords are words which have intent. Intent for the visitor to buy a type of product or at the very least be looking for a review on a certain product. Keywords which tells you that the person typing the keywords into the search engines are wanting a specific item or group of items. The more specific the keywords are, the greater the conversion rate will be.
These little jobs are done by people who log on to a company’s site and choose tasks, which could be as simple as clicking a link. Amazon's Mechanical Turk is one of the most well-known sites of this type. Also, there are crowdsourcing projects, which are similar to data entry, where companies engage an army of virtual workers to each do one small part of a larger project.

eBay: With eBay, the procedure is very similar. You simply start by becoming an eBay seller and stay in good standing by making sure your PayPal account is verified, and then you can sign up for your store. These three steps allow you to piggyback on eBay’s reputation, reach, and sales and marketing infrastructure in order to sell your own products.

You said that Amazon isn’t a good start for beginners, but what do you think of Azon Authority, hence in gives 90 days for the consumer, and if they pay within the 90 days, you will get your comission. And they have other things that stand a out. My question is, is this a scam-thing, because it is just too good to be true, I think. Well thank you for your time,

This isn’t to scare you off. I simply want you to know that this guide is going to focus solely on ways to make real, sustainable extra income online. Not just a few bucks. I want to share all the mistakes I've made that got me to where I am now so that you don’t have to go through them, and can build a successful online source of income for yourself.

Nice read…and the HARO idea is something I can use…but if a person has been at this for a while some of your ideas happen naturally from just using your brains…when I started I thought I didn’t have a creative bone in my body and I got so aggravated with the advice of…”Do what you are passionate about”…I wasn’t passionate about anything…making money was my passion…and as you know that is one of the toughest niches to get into…but I kept trying and I refused to give up…I started noticing what other so-called experts were doing and how they were doing it and I started developing my own strategies based off of different internet marketers (like your HARO idea I am gong to use…email lists and how marketers built them…thinking about what made me sign up for a list…also thinking abut would I really buy that and use that…also what type of problem was that marketer solving…like you right now are helping to solve a money problem people may have…your catch is….make $500.00 dollars… that gets INSTANT ATTENTION…finding stuff I could give away…finding coupons for stuff…the ideas and list is huge when you pay attention)…so that led me to analyze other marketers success…I found out about how to get my own software idea done…I found out who was who in IM and I subscribed to a bunch of lists with the intent of just seeing what other expert marketers were doing and before I knew it I learned what they were doing…I guess my passion turned out to be “learning”….I have taken so many ideas and formed them all into one or two I can’t even call them my own…I guess you can say I have put together a bunch of hybrid ideas from expert marketers and then using tools I needed to make it all work…if it’s one thing I have discovered about making money online it is there is no absolute one way of doing this… what works for you may not work for the next person and it’s simply putting together what works for you….I’m an expert at not being an expert….I guess you could say I am an expert copier of other marketers…read and study has been the way for me…and the thing about that is I never run out of ideas or ways to do things….I don’t overwhelm myself and try and do them all… I have taken about 4 strategies that I use that make money for me consistently…I am under the radar and that’s where I want to stay…I help my friends when they need money…I actually do it for them because I have it so structured it doesn’t take me very long and they are so lazy they don’t want to maintain the sites I build for them…I just have them pay the cost of the domain until they let it expire…anyway I guess my long rant here is because when I hear “do what you are passionate about” or “do whatever interest you” just makes me a little crazy….and I know you gave some examples of different ideas for niches but I am one of those people if you had given me that advice early on I would have wanted to jump out of a window…so I’m just letting you know that does not work for everyone and just because it doesn’t I’m letting some one else know that making money online does work it’s just a matter of how you want to approach it….
Validated Response provides their home based agents with a flexible schedule as they work as independent contractors for the company. Their requirements are quite basic and include the need for a good computer with reliable internet, interpersonal skills and a good phone voice. No experience is requires as they are willing to train you for the position.
“An email list is critical because you can’t build your content on rented land. So many brands and companies build their audiences on Facebook and Google+, which is fine, but we don’t own those names – Facebook and Google do. If we are thinking like real media companies, the asset is in the audience. Getting an email address is the first critical step to figuring out who my reader is, and hopefully in the future, my customer of some sort. If our goal is to drive sales or keep customers happy in some way, we first need to get them as part of our audience.

Search Engine Evaluators are hired by search engines like Google and other companies that are striving to improve their search engine results or user experience. Companies are hiring lots of search engine evaluators. You can work from home with no experience needed. This side gig helps search engines or companies evaluate their services and help them to know whether website users will have a better experience or not. Lionbridge and Appen are the most well-known companies here.
For some people, work just has to be in an office, factory, store, or any other environment that’s separate from home. Even a second job would have to be in a separate place. For others, a home office is a welcome place for a secondary or even a primary job. If you’re one of those people, you have some unique opportunities, but you also have some very particular challenges of working from home.
Despite the political fallout surrounding GoDaddy, from a purely technical perspective, many of their sites load extremely slow(this could be the result of trying to cram as many sites on to the same shared server for maximum profitability). I know of several Web Designers that refuse to have their clients hosted on GoDaddy just for this reason alone. A few months ago, several sites that were hosted by GoDaddy went down and despite the rumors, they weren’t hacked; but, it was an internal technical issue as admitted by them. Not exactly a glowing testimonial as a reason to use their service.
I always knew that keyword research was important but after seeing those Google Page percentages I see why you want to have your website on the first page of google. 91% of traffic for a given keyword that is mind-boggling, to say the least. I always had a certain way of doing my research but you have given me some other tips to follow. Most marketers don’t want to admit it but keyword research is something nobody can really master but there are great ways to find them and your way is straightforward and easy to follow.

Welcome Ryan. 🙂 I’m so glad you find the information useful. You’ll want to apply to sponsor companies and for your site in particular, you’d want to pitch the local companies you want to work with. On my blogging resources page, under “Sponsored Posts Companies,” you can find links to my favorite 4 sponsored posts companies. There are many out there, some are scammy, so just be careful who you apply to. You can search around in Facebook groups to find out if a company is good as well.
Hi Ian, the rest will be determined by you, meaning how much content the site has, how many comments and overall how many pages/posts you have written up to boost the website’s authority. Just seeing the keyword and a low competition number is good, but ultimately what boosts it to the top pages are those 2 things + your work to make it happen. And I would not dwell on any particular keyword if it isn’t hitting the first page, sometimes it can take a long time to go, the best thing to do is continue to find more and more keywords and write up content on them.

Money can be earned and spent, saved and pilfered, invested and wasted. Not time. That's why time is far more valuable than money. The point? When you lack the luxury of time, making money online (or offline) can seem like an impossible task. How are you supposed to do that when you're working at a life-sucking nine-to-five job? While the stability of full-time employment might allow most to sleep well at night, it doesn't empower your creative juices to search for new income-producing strategies.

Customer service reps are often to needed to assist customers on the phone, via email, or via online chat tools. Many of these jobs are easily done from remote offices and require little to no work experience. Communication skills, typing skills, and the ability to calmly handle customer issues will often qualify you for a customer service position.
Create a killer course experience: With your course validated and in the works, you need to figure out how people will take it. Most course creators choose to host their courses from their own websites. This way, they get all the value of bringing customers back to their site on a regular basis. I host my own courses from a subdomain on my own site so I can easily add more. The course experience is incredibly important as well. And after trying most of the solutions, I highly recommend Teachable—an online platform designed specifically for courses.

Hi Sarah. So it’s the middle of the night and I can’t sleep because I’m worried about paying my bills. It’s so ironic that I came across this post. I know that I would have plenty to post about with my love for DIY home-improvement and my distressed furniture business, but looking through all of your information it just seems so overwhelming. I feel like if I don’t read through everything I could make a mistake and end up paying money instead of money. I have prayed that God will send me an answer so I can get some sleep! Haha. Any advice?

Selection. One of the keys to success on Etsy is selection, according to industry insiders. In fact, the goal of most serious shop owners is to have at least 200 items for sale. If you’re creating all of those items yourself, that’s a pretty big time commitment. But the more options you give to your customers, the higher the chances that you’ll make a sale.
For the starters, expert bloggers have been noted saying that most of them used a tried and tested method. For example, they created a niche which is familiar to their target audience and catered content and ad requirements which are completely user-oriented. Second, after consistently receiving a visitor list of around 10,000 per day, they focused on a leading advertising agency in the country who can pay them best. Many ad agencies offer easy selling options but only the best ones can change the face of affiliate marketing for you, for the better. Their high standards will eventually lead your business towards a good point and you’ll no more feel that you need cheap ad banners or just-for-the-sake-of-money ad servings. The biggest advantage is that they will provide reports of ad tracking (insights on revenue generation) through their mobile analytics platform.
Even though these online jobs are ideal for people with no prior experience. It is always great to have side earners for a little spare change. I highly recommend signing up for Slice the Pie where I earn around $200 – $300 per month writing short music reviews, rating fashions, testing cell phone apps, and more. You can also earn a little extra by scanning your grocery receipts with Ibotta. Last month, I earned $420 sent immediately via Paypal.
For those with a large Twitter following, you can make money from your Tweets alone with Sponsored Tweets. You could be paid for sharing a business’s information, recommending restaurants or hotels, or tweeting pictures of you using or wearing products. As with all sponsored posts on social media, businesses will only be prepared to pay you to Tweet if you have a large following that you can influence. So work hard on building up a loyal fan base.

With our process it starts with the market, not a website. Specifically what we look for are established markets that have not yet transitioned to online sales and marketing. Most of these niches are not sexy at all! But many of them are very well established markets with a strong sales history. We are making the bet that the majority of purchases in the future will either be educated, initiated, or made online. What we don’t know for some industries is if this will be tomorrow or 5 years from now. For some niches it can take time, but if you are patient and believe this to be true, you could find yourself with first-movers advantage online. This approach has helped us to be successful not only in building niche websites but entrenching ourselves in lucrative markets. Websites come and go with the Google algorithm, dominant market players are much tougher to unseat.

Sutherland – This is for my readers who love to play video games! Sutherland is hiring both part-time and full-time Gaming Support representatives to provide tech support and customer service for “one of the world’s largest gaming platforms.” In order to qualify, you should be an experienced gamer (or have experience in gaming tech support), demonstrate great customer service abilities (with at least 1 year customer service experience), be tech savvy and good at multi-tasking, etc. You should also have a high school diploma or equivalent, and type a minimum of 35 WPM. They have a few technical requirements, such as monitor size and Internet connection speed, so make sure you read the job listing carefully for all the details.
Diligence. In this industry, the line between scams and honest businesses is blurry, so you need to do your homework before accepting a position. Call the Better Business Bureau in your area to find out if there have been any complaints filed against the company, and do an online search on their name. Alpine Access is a well-respected company in the field, and Call Center Careers is a great place to look for legitimate call centers looking to hire.
When it comes to paid surveys, there is no guarantee that you will make anything at all, and the chance for surveys that will pay you 50.00 even once is slim. You will spend a significant amount of time answering questions just to get a message that you dont qualify to take the survey. Then they offer another and you go through the same thing. The majority of your time spent doing this is wasted for nothing.
There are different ways to market an ebook. One of the most common is through Amazon’s Kindle program. They can help you with all the steps to both publish and market your ebook through their incredibly popular platform. There are some specialized sets of writing software that will help with not only writing your ebook, but also formatting it correctly for the Amazon market as well Barnes & Noble and iTunes
Double check yourself, before you double wreck yourself. Make sure everything you send to a company, whether a résumé, an email or a portfolio, is good to go. Double check your grammar and wording, and for God’s sake use spell check! This is especially important when it comes to the company’s name. Don’t spell their name wrong and be sure to type it how they type it (e.g. Problogger, not Pro Blogger).
If you’re a fitness buff and have the right combination of charisma and business sense, working as a part-time online personal trainer can be both physically and financially rewarding. Once you build up a reputation and client base for yourself, it could easily turn into a full-time endeavor for you. Check out this interview with several fitness blog owners who are making a living online, from MonetizePros. As well, I'd recommend checking out this resource if you want to take this business idea seriously and get started with a business plan for your personal fitness trainer business today.
If you are a fast reader and have a good grasp of grammar and language then editing may be a good freelance role for you. Editing is a great way to quickly make money online, and there are always editing jobs available on the freelance job sites. Editor’s usually get paid per word, so the faster you can check through work the more money you will make per hour.
Busy professionals often prove too busy to walk their dogs during the day, so they hire someone else to deal with it. To avoid up-front leash costs, include "owner-supplied leash" as a requirement in your ads. You can list your service for free on online classified sites, as well as encourage word-of-mouth by spreading the word to friends and family about your dog walking service. The experts over at Dog*Tec suggest that social media marketing does not always generate new clients, but often does serve as a brand loyalty booster. Be warned that, in most places, dog walkers must clean up any poop their doggie wards leave on the ground. Leftover plastic grocery bags provide a free solution to that problem.

I’m not sure that you can make money from a blog within 2 months. Usually it takes about 6 months to a year to see income, but once you do, you start flying. With that said, it’s definitely worth investing in and then in time, you can make a full-time income from blogging and be home. I would just make sure you have a lot of posts scheduled for when you have your baby (congratulations!) and after, so you are not as stressed. Prepare everything out and have things set. Consistency is key in blogging. You go away for a while from your blog and so will your readers.
Did you know that English speakers are in high demand in Asia? As a result many are turning to freelance English teachers using websites like Italki.com. The site is basically a virtual online classroom for freelance teachers and students. Anyone can offer lessons (and set their own price), and anyone can take lessons. From a quick scan, it looks like making $15 to 20/hour is a fair expectation.
My top tip is: go for quality. Don’t try shortcuts. In the last years a lot of cheap and poor quality content has been written, but nowadays to create a long lasting business I believe the way to go is investing in top quality content.Content that deliver real value that people enjoy spending their precious time consuming and recommending others to read. The second tip is to spend time marketing your content, reaching out other websites owners and influencers to let them know you’ve great material.
If you don’t mind doing other people’s chores, then TaskRabbit is a great option for making money online. Earn extra income by walking your neighbor’s dog or mowing Mr. Smith’s lawn. It might seem like not the most lucrative option, but the top taskers reportedly earn as much as $7000 a month, making this a full-time way to make money online for some.
I worked for World Travel Holdings until I had to stop working for personal reasons. They are the best company I’ve ever worked for. They make sure you are trained very well. They are always there for you and, you’re selling or servicing cruises!! You can win free cruises and the work is so fun. Wish I was still able to do this. Try them…they are awesome and they pay very well!!
17. Amazon – Have you heard of FBA? It stands for “Fulfilled by Amazon” and it’s getting pretty popular. Basically, you buy products (in bulk is best) and ship them to Amazon for them to store. When your products sell, Amazon packs them up, ships them out and sends you the money (after taking their cut). There are people making a full-time living from FBA, while others just do it for some extra money.
You'll also need ecommerce software, fulfillment software, worry about warehousing, customer service, refunds and so on. But that's not all. You'll also need traffic. Think search engine optimization, Facebook ads, and other social media campaigns. Sound like a lot of work? Sure, it is. Especially if you do it all on your own. You could opt for Amazon's platform, which might be the easier route. But, then again, at the end of the day, this is a serious business, which could produce significant profits. So you're either all in or you're not.
Drop shipping is another great ‘hands-off’ way to sell products. Firstly you will need to find businesses that sell products in your niche that offer a drop shipping service. Then you will need to create a website promoting and selling the products. When you make a sale, you take the payment on your site and then the manufacturer ships the goods to the buyer. The profit comes from charging a higher rate than the manufacturer, and if you are selling a high number of products this can quickly add up to a healthy revenue.
Backlinks: Now that your site is up and running, you will need to get it on the front page of search results to get targeted traffic. For this you have to do link building process. Don’t just get some cheap service that builds spammy links as they no longer will help. I suggest you to do this manually as you will know the exact location from where the backlink is coming. I would suggest you to go with Pat Flynn’s backlinking strategy as it is the most effective one.
Great list! I’ve used Poshmark to sell clothes/accessories. You take up to 4 photos, add a description, and set a size, color, and brand. I’ve sold 3 items so far (two dresses and a pair of shoes) and it’s easy. The buyer can purchase at listing price or make you an offer, to which you can counter-offer. At all times, you can see what your profit will be from your listed price. Once the transaction is accepted, you are emailed a prepaid shipping label to print. You package your item up in a brown box and ship, and when the seller receives it your funds are released. You can cash out as a direct deposit to a bank account at any time or use the funds to shop. I’ve also purchased a pair of jeans on the site and they arrived as expected. For like-new and designer labels it’s a great way to clear your closet and make a little cash all at once.
The two popular ones are Poshmark and TheRealReal. Both make it dead simple to sell (and buy!) luxury items. The RealReal will pay you 60% of the sale price (more if you sell a lot) and Poshmark has a tiered commission structure. Sale prices under $15 pay a $2.95 flat fee and everything else is just 20%. Tradesy is another company and they take just 9%.
Blogger, which you can set up for free in less than five minutes, automates Google AdSense so that you can make money with your blog by displaying ads and getting paid when people click on the ads. To make more money, set up an affiliate program (see below) for books, music, and more, and insert your affiliate links whenever you refer to those items. A good strategy to set you on the path to success is selecting a unique topic, writing intelligent copy, and telling all your friends. You'll be off to a better start with a targeted audience.
Find a profitable niche: We’ve talked about this a lot. But, where are you most comfortable. What niche do your skills, values, and interests intersect? Do you have 10 years of experience as a technical writer? Do you have long-standing PR relationships that’ll be invaluable in helping startups launch a successful crowdfunding campaign? Determine what makes your value unique, and lean heavily on showcasing that strength to your potential clients.

After having read through this article I actually went and read your article on LSI too. I must say I’ve found both extremely helpful! I had no idea what LSI even was up till now and I fear one of my sites may actually be being penalized as the same terms repeat through out each post page and may look like “keyword stuffing” from Google’s point of view, even though that was never my intention.
This is a more technical way to make money online then most of the other strategies given. But you can get an excellent course on how to make it happen with Steve Chou’s Create a Profitable Online Store program. Steve and his wife have built a highly successful online store – selling wedding napkins – and he’s anxious to provide insider secrets to people who sign up for his course..
I have really enjoyed reading about how to build a niche site. I have tried and failed so many times. At the moment i am changing my website because i have tried to be a jack of all trades and obviously that doesn’t work. So my website is going to be taken offline and changed and now i have a better understanding from what you have just wrote i can do a much better Job. I also tried to do a lot of work with Amazon personally but i understand why you say not to.
If you’re willing to take on some risk and have the heart of a true hustler, you can make extra money online doing commission-only sales for startups and other businesses. While you won’t be getting a regular salary, with the right sales strategies and skills as an inside sales rep, you can make decent money for each sale you bring in. And because you’ll most likely be working with startups, if you can negotiate a little equity you could profit big time if you're pitching a solid product and the startup succeeds.

In this case, the business opportunity lies in having the first movers advantage and creating a niche website which focuses extensively on Korean watches. If your website has good enough material on Korean watches and slowly emerges as the best possible resource people refer for buying and learning more about that particular segment, gradually it will turn into a viable business.

The music industry might not be as strong as it was in the 80s, but there are still plenty of ways to make money online as a musician. Sites like SoundBetter let you sell your services as a songwriter, producer, or session musician to thousands of customers a month. While Musicbed, Music Vine, Marmoset, and SongFreedom are perfect for licensing your music to TV shows, movies, and web series.
If you aren't a writer (or hate writing), then the option that I recommend for people is to outsource this step and hire a ghostwriter.  There's plenty of writers (and companies that I use) that can write your Kindle book for you on ANY topic you want for as low as $55-75 for a 5000 word book.  This costs money and it's an option that is available for you.  They will typically deliver the book within 7-14 days.
If you want to help shape products in their early stages, joining an online focus group or answering survey questions is a great way to make extra money online. They don’t pay as much as some of the other options we’ve highlighted, but you can join groups on sites like Survey Junkie, Swagbucks, and IPSOS that pay out through Amazon gift cards, check, or PayPal. You’ll be asked to provide a bit of information about your demographics (age, location, etc…), but after that you can get going making money through surveys.
The key here is not having too many sites just for the sake of it. Find a niche and give it all you’ve got! Online is just one way for marketing your website. The smartest thing I’ve done was having a corrugated sign printed out and “H” staking it on the corner of this very popular intersection where I live. SEO, link building and content sharing is the law, but traditional marketing (for the appropriate niche) can yield wonderful results. Combine both, and you start to feel the “business” aspect a lot more which motivates you to keep going during the uncertain times.
